Terms and Conditions for booking HPLC Training Courses

Booking and Payments

A booking form must be completed for each applicant and for each course booked. This must include a company order number or other payment arrangements.

Payment must be received in full no later than 2 weeks before the start of the course, or the place may be offered to another applicant.

Course bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

Customers from overseas may pay in £ sterling or Euros. Please confirm the euro price with us when booking. Please ensure that all bank charges are paid. The invoice price is what we expect to receive. It appears to be common practice for some overseas companies to make various deductions when making international payments, and we give notice that a course place will not be confirmed until the full invoice price has been received.

Once a course booking is received, it is subject to the cancellation terms below:

Cancellation more than 4 weeks before the date of commencement of the course - no charge and a full refund.

Cancellation 2-4 weeks before the date of commencement of the course - 50% refund or a place on the next course.

Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the start of the course - no refund or a 50% discount on the next course.

We reserve the right to cancel any course or change the dates. Whilst we will do our utmost to avoid this, it may from time to time be necessary. We will give you reasonable notice of cancellation, and we will offer you an alternative course of equal or higher value if we have to cancel the course you have booked.

Please bear this in mind when booking hotels. If a place is booked at the Ramada Encore Hotel in Chatham using the Laserchrom Discount Scheme, you may cancel or change the booking at any time until the day of the booking. But some hotels offer a discounted rate in return for pre-payment and waiving the right to cancel. If you take such a deal, we will not be liable in the event that a course has to be cancelled or postponed.

Hotel arrangements are the responsibility of the applicant. We regret that we cannot make hotel bookings on behalf of customers.
