Suitable for: Anyone with little or no HPLC experience, but we recommend doing the Introductory course first, because material covered there is not repeated during this course.

Differences between different C18 packings

Comparison between C8 and C18

When to use 5u, when to use 10u and when to use 3u

Type A and Type B silicas

Base deactivated silicas

Normal phase columns - Si, CN, DIOL, NH2

Ion Exchange columns - SAX, SCX, WAX, WCX

Effects of changing column length, and how to decide the best length to use.
