The course covers the reason for doing the analysis, the types of samples that will be encountered, the sample preparation process, and the HPLC requirements for the separation. Potential problems with each method will be discussed. The course does not aim to provide an SOP for each method - that is the responsibility of individual labs. But after the course each participant should have a good understanding of each method, and feel confident to troubleshoot these methods. The methods used in this course are based upon commercially available kits and use fluorescence or UV detection. This is a practical course and we run several methods as part of the practical. These will be selected from catecholamines, haemoglobins, beta-carotenes, metanephrines, 5-HIAA and metabolites and amino acids This course is run on an 'as required' basis. The minimum number of participants is 4. Contact us to register your interest. |
