New for 2010 are a range of specialist HPLC Courses to be presented in Nairobi, Kenya. Initially this will be Introduction to HPLC and an Intermediate HPLC courses, to be run in April, followed by more advanced courses in the summer. It is hoped that practical courses will then follow.
HPLC is a major analytical technique used by many companies around the world, including pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, agrochemicals, government labs, hospitals, food labs, water authorities and biotechnology companies. A good working knowledge of HPLC is an advantage and is often a requirement to work in such laboratories.
The course content is identical to the courses being run in the UK. Courses will be presented by Dr Stuart Jones, who has 30 years experience of HPLC in the UK and has been presenting courses at Laserchrom HPLC Laboratories for many years, including at a number of Universities in the UK. Laserchrom run 17 HPLC systems and develop HPLC methods for companies in Europe, so the course content is right up-to date with the latest developments.
