This course pays for itself the first time you don't need to call a service engineer!

This course is a direct follow-up from our standard Agilent HPLC Equipment Servicing course, and we recommend that you attend that course first. In that course we cover preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, such as replacement of lamps, seals, check valves etc. That course is in the main conducted with the covers on.

This course is conducted with the covers off, and runs during the two days immediately following the standard Agilent course. It covers the replacement of major components, such as the pump motor, or the autosampler transport arm. As with the other course, it covers the 1100 and 1200 series, although it is also relevant for any users still using the old 1050 series.

The first day of this course covers replacement of all major components in the system. It is almost totally a practical course, and the equipment used will primarily be modules from the 1100 series. during the second day we run a full Operational Qualification test on the system using Chemstation.

The course is run by Rob Viola, an ex-Agilent service engineer, who has extensive knowledge of this range of equipment.

It is a hands-on course, and each participant will do all the service procedures during the course. Hence numbers are limited to 8.

The software used during the course will be Chemstation and Clarity. However the course is not intended to cover the software, so the procedures are applicable regardless of the software used by individual users.
