The Stuart Jones HPLC Academy was formed in 2009, following 29 years of providing HPLC training for Laserchrom HPLC Laboratories, at Loughborough University, the University of London and the Royal Society of Chemistry Courses.
Courses are offered in the UK and overseas. Courses in the USA are organised through Gallery Science, and in Germany through Techlab. Courses are run in Nairobi, Kenya, and will be offered in other major cities around the world as local partnerships are established, but if a company requires an on-site course, we would be pleased to offer a quotation direct.
Courses are delivered by Dr Stuart Jones, along with associates from universities and industry.
Courses are delivered in English, so a working knowledge of English is required. However we regularly present courses to those for whom English is not their first language, and are used to explaining HPLC concepts in 'high school English'! We currently offer a half day module in 'HPLC English' for customers form Germany, and have a 'picture dictionary' to show what all the parts of an HPLC system are called. This is currently available only in English/German, but other major languages could be added if required.
Please note that VAT is payable on all courses booked and run in the UK, even when booked by those from overseas. VAT in the UK is currently 17.5%. VAT is not applicable to courses run overseas outside of the EU.
